How to pay through the New Challan Form (CRN) - Post-Login Service
Step-1: Your User ID and Password are required to log into the e-Filing portal.
Step-2: On the Dashboard, click e-File > e-Pay Tax. You will be taken to the e-Pay Tax page. The online tax payment can be initiated by clicking the New Payment option on the e-Pay Tax page.
Step-3: Choose a tax payment tile that applies to you on the New Payment page.
Step-4: Click Continue after selecting the applicable Tax Payment tile. Select the Assessment Year, Minor head, and other details (if applicable).
Note-: Select the relevant Assessment year and heads very precisely.
For example, if you are paying self-assessment for AY 2023 Select Type of Payment (Minor Head) *-300
