For claiming tax deducted at source amount (TDS) you need to enter TAN of the deductor while filing the Income-tax return. This helps in matching the tax deducted and deposited by employer at Income-tax department's end.
If Employer/Deductor has deducted your TDS, you can get TAN of Company from your Form 26AS.
1) Go to incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
2) Login into your Account (PAN based).
3) Once Login, go to My Account >> View Form 26AS (Tax Credit).
You will be redirected to TRACES website, where you will be able to see all your Tax Deductions and Tax Payments. This Facility is also available with Certain Bank's Net Banking.
