How to apply for a PAN card? – myITreturn Help Center

Steps involved to apply for a PAN Card:

Step 1

(a) If you are applying for the first time for a PAN, download form (49 A) from here.
(b) If you want to renew a PAN or make some corrections to existing PAN, download form from here.

Step 2
Fill up the form with a Black ink. For instructions on how to fill up the form, please check below:

(b) Instructions for PAN Correction: click here

Step 3
Paste photograph and attach documentary proofs along with the form. Accepted id proofs are mentioned in the instruction given above in Step 2.

Step 4
Visit nearby TIN FC who prepares PAN Card. Find your nearest one from this list: click here

Step 5
Submit the form and pay the fees. You will get an acknowledgment number.

Step 6
TIN FC will forward your application to NSDL.

Step 7
NSDL will verify your details and issue PAN Card.

Step 8
PAN Card will be received at your provided address of communication.
