I'm not able to add a new member.

There can be various reason if you are not able to add a family member. Some of the errors and solutions are:

1) Error:  PAN does not exist in the Income-tax Department database.

Solution: Please re-check your PAN as mentioned in the PAN Card and enter correctly. If you have entered correctly then kindly contact 1800-180-1961 and re-check with the Income-tax Department. There is a probability that your PAN is not correctly updated in the database of Income-tax Department.

2) Error: The Date of Birth (DoB) for PAN: {AAAPA1111A} does not match with the DoB mentioned in the Income-tax Department database.

Solution: Please re-check your DoB as mentioned in the PAN Card and enter correctly. If you have entered correctly then kindly contact 1800-180-1961 and re-check with the Income-tax Department. There is a probability that the DoB is not correctly updated in the database of Income-tax Department. 

After verifying from the Income-tax Department if you find out that your details are in-correctly updated in the database of Department Server, you may apply for a PAN Correction through Form 49B.
