"Electronic Verification Code” is a code generated by the Income-tax Department for electronic verification of the identity of the person filing the Income-tax Return.
Steps to e-verify through Punjab National Bank Net Banking
(a) Go to the login page and fill the User ID to proceed further for e-verification.
(b) Click on Income Tax e-Filing Login option under Value Added Services section in the top menu to proceed.
(c) Submit your account number in order to proceed further.
(d) Accept the term and condition and click on Login to e-Filing.
(e) You will be on Income-tax portal. Click on e-Verify link.
(f) Click on Continue button to e-Verify your filed return.
(g) You will get a confirmation message. No further action required afterwards.
