How to Merge TRACES Part-A and Part-B along with 12BA , Salary Annexure?

 Step 1: Download the Smart Form 16 Software.

• You can also download from https://myitreturn.com/softwares/create-bulk-form-16

Step 2: Install the software in your system.

• First Unzip the downloaded file.
• Run the Setup.exe file from the "Merging Utility" folder. 
• Follow the instruction and complete the installation.  

  Step3: Fill the details in the respective sheets related to 12BA and Salary Annexure.

• Deductor Details: Fill in the details of Deductor and Responsible person.
• Form 16 Details: Fill in the mandatory fields of all the employees whose Form 16 you want to generate. The mandatory columns are [ Employee Serial Number, Employee PAN, Full_Name, Password, Period_of_Employment_From ].
• Perquisite (12BA): Fill in the Perquisite details of the employees. This is an optional sheet. Fill this sheet only if you wish to generate Form 12 BA.
• Salary Annexure: Fill in the details of Salary annexure of employees. This is an optional sheet. Fill this sheet only if you wish to generate Salary Annexure along with Part B of Form 16.

Step 4:  Merge TRACES Part-A and Part-B along with 12BA , Salary Annexure.

• After Installation, You will get the Icon of the merge utility on the desktop of your system.
• Double click the Icon to start the software.
• Click on Generate and Merge.
• Then click on "Merge Part A and Part B generated from TRACES with 12BA , Salary Annexure" and click on Next.

 Step 5: Browse the file locations.

• In the first Browse option select the excel in which you have filled the data for generating 12BA and Annexure.
• In the second Browse option select the path where you want to generate Part B.
• In third Browse option select the location where TRACES Part A is generated.
• In fourth Browse option select the location where TRACES Part B is generated.
• In last Browse option select the location where you want to save your merged Form 16 PDF and then click on next. 

 Step 6: Select the Form-16 options.

• Generate 12BA form.
• Generate salary annexure
• For Digital Signing select option "sign with a Digital Signature".
• For Password, protection select the option "Password protect".
• You can save Form 16 pdf with the Employee Serial Number.  

 Step 7: Select row number upto which Form 16 to be generated as per excel rows. Click on "Generate" to start the generation process.

Step 8: Generated Form 16 saved in the destination folder.
