    Dear Sir,

Person shall be treated as ‘Resident’, if he satisfies any of the following basic conditions:-

    Basic conditions-

    1) If a person is in India for at least 182 days during the Financial Year   OR

    2) If a person is in India for at least 60 days during the Financial Year and for at least 365 days during the last 4 Financial Years.

If you were there in India from April to June that comes to 91 days. You become a resident  only if you were in India for at least  365 days during last  4 Financial years.

Anyways, while filing the return through myITreturn, "Residential status" is asked, and there is also "I don't know " option, where you are asked a few questions and on the basis of your answers, the residential status is known.
