What if there is a mismatch in Date of Birth? – myITreturn Help Center

Scenario 1 : Wrong Date of Birth in Aadhaar card.

Visit the UIDAI Website: Go to the UIDAI website.
Login with Aadhaar: Use your Aadhaar number and OTP to log in.
Update DOB: Select the option to update your Date of Birth and provide the correct details.
Upload Supporting Documents: Upload a scanned copy of the proof of DOB (e.g., birth certificate, passport, etc.)
Submit and Pay: Submit the request and pay the required fee.
Receive Acknowledgement: You will receive an Update Request Number (URN) to track the status of your update.

Scenario 2 : Wrong Date of Birth in PAN card :

Visit the PAN Correction Website: Go to the NSDL e-Gov portal or the UTIITSL website .
Choose PAN Correction Application: Select the option for changes or corrections in existing PAN data.
Fill in the PAN Correction Form (Form 49A): Provide the necessary details and upload supporting documents.
Payment of Fees: Pay the required fee for the correction.
Submission and Acknowledgement: Submit the form and receive an acknowledgement slip. You will receive the updated PAN card after processing.
