Please provide us with the transaction number and order ID that you received in your email from the payment gateway after completing the payment if your card or bank account was charged twice during the transaction or if you had to make the payment again for any reason. You may also check the Card/bank User's account statement to see whether this is the case.

Please be aware that processing times for refund requests often vary from 5 to 10 business days. Transaction description - INB/297665269/ INTERNET TAX PAYMENT.
The amount got deducted from my account but not credited to the tax account (I am not sure ).
Later I have paid with icici bank, the challan number is 05173, I used this number and completed my tax return.
Can you tell me the procedure to gety amount back which was deducted from axis Bank.

I had similar issue, my card charged twice for TDS while online payment via OLTAS, amount is huge, please advice how i can get my duplicate amount back, i have even visited IncomTax office Hyderabad, concerned officer said they cant do uch about it , only we need to wait till ITR, then claim the extra amount paid , some body help me here where to give complaint then
