How to Merge Part-A and Part-B Generated from TRACES ?

 Step 1: Download the Smart Form 16 Merging Utility.

Step 2: Install the software in your system.

• First Unzip the downloaded file.
• Run the Setup.exe file from the "Merging Utility" folder. 
• Follow the instruction and complete the installation.  

Step 3:  Merge Part-A and Part-B Generated from TRACES.

• After Installation, You will get the Icon of the merge utility on the desktop of your system.
• Double click the Icon to start the software.
• Click on Merge only.
• If you already have Part A and Part B generated from TRACES and click on Next.

Step 4: Browse the path,

• In first Browse option select the location where TRACES Part A is generated.
• In second Browse option select the location where TRACES Part B is generated.
• In last Browse option select the location where you want your merged Form-16 PDF to be saved and then click on next.

Step 5: Select the Form-16 options

• Sign your PDF with Digital Signature.
• You can also Add Header Help Tip for efiling Income – tax return. After that click on Next.

Step 6: Select the line number up to how much PDF you want to generate. And after that click on Generate.
