Step 1: Log in to the Income Tax Portal using your PAN credentials.
Once logged in, go to the “e-File” section and select “e-Pay Tax” to proceed.
Step 2: Select the applicable Income Tax Act for your Assessment Year, then click Continue to proceed.
Step 3: Click on New Payment.
Step 4: Select ‘Proceed’ for Self-Assessment Tax.
Step 5: Select the applicable Assessment Year and choose Self-Assessment Tax. Then, click Continue button.
Step 6: Enter the tax amount you need to pay in the relevant field, then click Continue to proceed.
Step 7: Select your preferred payment method and click Continue to proceed.
Step 8: Preview all the details you’ve entered. Once verified, click on the Final Payment button to complete the process.
