How to resolve Aadhar and PAN not linking issue in myITreturn

Step 1: Log in at the e-filing portal using PAN or Aadhar.

Click here to open the Income-tax Department’s website. Enter your PAN number or Aadhar number and click on Continue.

Note: If you don’t know your password, you can click on Forgot Password to reset your password.

Step 2: Go to the My Profile

Step 3:Under personal details, select the "Compare with PAN and Aadhaar" button.

Step 4: Inside the profile click the refresh button, highlighted in the attached Image.

Your details have been successfully updated.Click here to open the Income-tax Department’s website. Enter your PAN number or Aadhar number and click on Continue.

Step 5: Your Aadhar number status is "linked"

Step 6: Wait for 5 minutes and then come back and complete your e-Verification process.
